Misha Dacic, piano

After his debut in the Discovery Series of the Miami International Piano Festival in 2003, Misha Dacic quickly became a sought-after soloist, performing at festivals such as Ravinia’s Rising Stars Series, Gilmore Keyboard Festival, Xavier Piano Series, Frederic Chopin Society, and Steinway Hall in New York.

His notable performances include the Martha Argerich Project Festival in Lugano, the Mendelssohn House in Leipzig, Oji Hall in Tokyo, and the Sergiu Celibidache Festival in Bucharest. In 2009, he joined the legendary violinist Ida Haendel, performing worldwide. One of his live performances was captured on a DVD released by VAI. “Misha Dacic in Recital”, featuring several live performances,
was also released by VAI in 2009. In 2016, at the Sergei Rachmaninoff Museum in Ivanovka (Russia), Dacic premiered his two-piano arrangement of Rachmaninoff’s choral symphony The Bells and was named artistic director of the Rachmaninoff Festival there.

Born into a family with a musical tradition, and having received his first lessons from his father, Misha Dacic has been performing in public since the age of ten. His mentors include Lazar Berman, Frank
Cooper, Kemal Gekić, and Jorge Luis Prats.
